Reading and Libraries in the Foundation Stage and KS1 takes place on Wednesday 8 October 2008 in Halifax. Trainer Anne Harding explores ways to build a love of books and lay the foundations for happy and successful reading. An interactive course for early years practitioners, foundation stage coordinators, literacy coordinators, foundation stage and KS1 teachers and teaching assistants.

Getting Them and Keeping Them: Reading across the Primary/Secondary Transition takes place on Thursday 9 October 2008 in Enfield. Trainer Alec Williams looks at ways to promote reading for pleasure and how to create a reading culture that runs across the transition from primary to secondary. A course for primary teachers running a school library, secondary school librarians, support staff and English teachers.
