The School Library Association celebrated the 2015 Information Book Award on Wednesday 11th November with an event at the sponsors – Hachette’s - new offices and 6th Floor roof café.
The overall winner chosen by the judges was Shackleton's Journey by William Grill, published by Flying Eye Books, whilst the Children’s Choice was Pop-Up New York by Jennie Maizels, published by Walker Books.
The SLA Information Book Award is an annual event celebrating information books, and is designed to support school libraries and to reinforce the importance of non-fiction whilst highlighting the high standard of resources available.
