Into Film Festival - between 4 and 21 November

Iff MainOver 350,000 teachers and young people across the UK are already attending the Into Film Festival. There are still places remaining so book now before your school misses out!

Great curriculum focussed film education events
As well as offering a huge number of free screenings we're hosting a wide variety of speakers and special Q&As and masterclasses to provide schools first hand advice and insights from a range of world-renowned film industry experts.

Your school could join:

  • Thousands of young people across the UK at a special satellite-linked Q&A with Britain's favourite animators Aardman; who will uncover the magic behind their latest film Shaun the Sheep (U) and be inspired in art and design and literacy lessons.

  • A Q&A withTom Lyons - UK Space Ambassador at an immersive 3D IMAX screening of Space Station 3D (U) and explore science and technology topics when they return to the classroom.

  • Renowned art director Katharina Kubrick, daughter of acclaimed director Stanley Kubrick, at a very special screening of sci-fi classic 2001: A Space Odyssey (U) and learn about science, technology, design and communication.

  • Writer and directorLisle Turner for an exciting Q&A about his film of love and adolescence Here and Now (12a), to form classromm discussion to support PSHE, media and film learning.

Education resources available
Festival themes and films have been carefully selected to support cross-curricular learning. To add further educational value to your visit, we've created over one hundred free, downloadable and curriculum-linked resources including activities that encourage reflection, analysis and the opportunity to explore the themes in greater detail, developing young people's thoughts, communication and literacy skills.
