InFlow (Information Flow) is a new model of applied information literacy designed to be integrated within the curriculum. It is based on learning activities which have been successfully adopted by teachers in schools throughout Europe during the iTEC project, and revised and developed further based on feedback from UK librarians. You can view a copy on the website.
This session will introduce the model and suggest some ways in which it might be used by school librarians to devise information literacy sessions and support students in developing creative, collaborative and reflective skills. You will have a chance to put the model into practice by either using it to develop an existing activity or to create a new project from scratch.
Tuesday 8th July 2014, 4.00-6.00pm at Manchester Metropolitan University, Oxford Rd, M15 6BH . This is a free session, but numbers are limited. Book a place here now. For further details, please contact s.mcnicol[at]mmu.ac.uk
