Job Vacancies: Bradfield College - Librarian

Full time, term time only

Required to start as soon as possible

We are seeking to appoint a forward-thinking, enthusiastic and dynamic professional to join our small library team. Reporting to the Head Librarian, you will be responsible for providing an excellent standard of customer service to our pupils and staff and the wider College community.
The role is to assist the Head Librarian in the furtherance of learning, research and reading of the College community. To help catalogue and process resources; assist the users of the library in a scholarly manner; supervise and assist the members of the College community using the library; supervise the library staff; and assist in events to promote library services within the College.

You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as a positive approach to teamwork and the ability to work on your own in a proactive manner. Strong IT skills are required and experience of working within an educational library (in particular with the 13-18 age group) is desirable.

The work pattern will be over five days with some weekend working (Saturday mornings and Sundays) and occasional evening working (until 9.00pm)required.
