Job Vacancies: The Beacon School, Banstead - Learning Resources Manager

We require a well organised, self-motivated person who enjoys the prospect of working with young people and teachers in a supportive role.
Your main responsibilities will be to manage the Learning Resources Centre (LRC) and take a lead role in promoting reading across the school. The post includes development of information to support the curriculum; liaison with teaching staff to support their work; and management and guidance to students while they study and research.

You should preferably having a teaching or librarian qualification, as well as experience of working with young people and be competent in the use of IT.

This position is for 30 hours a week for 39 weeks per year (i.e. term time plus 5 days) and attracts a full-time salary of £24,090 per year, pro-rata £17,111 (actual).
