New Year Greetings from SLA HQ

Happy New Year to all our Members and Supporters

Don't forget that nominations for School Librarian of the Year 2018 close on 19 January, so you still have time to recommend a colleague or friend for this prestigious award.

We are looking for librarians in primary or secondary schools who really enhance what their school offers to students. People who have a huge impact on learning and literacy, and ensure that the library lies at the heart of their school.

Help us to honour the excellent work that is carried out in school libraries every day, and highlight the best practice of those whose work is outstanding.

The Nomination Form is on our website, and Guidance Notes are available to help you prepare an effective nomination.

P.S. If you are an SLA Member interested in applying for the vacancies on the Board of Trustees, please note that nominations must be received at the SLA office by 1 February 2018.
