Nominate a School Librarian 2018

Welcome to 2018 - this is just a brief reminder that you still have nearly 2 weeks in which to nominate a school librarian who is doing great things in your school for the SLA School Librarian of the Year Award. (Nominations close on 19th January.)

Foyle Logo WebThis year we are delighted to announce we have funding available to run the award from the Foyle Foundation, and even better, this will continue until 2020, ensuring that the award has the space and time to develop, whilst continuing to promote the wonderful best practice and learning that happens in school libraries all over the country.

The Foyle Foundation is an independent grant making Trust supporting UK charities which, since its formation in 2001, has become a major funder of the Arts and Learning.  The Foundation also operates a community small grants programme and a national school library improvement scheme.
