Sally Gardner author event

Kent SLA Branch would like to warmly invite members to a free event to be held at the Duke of York's Royal Military School, Dover on Thursday 9th November between 5p.m. - 6.30p.m. Carnegie Award winning author Sally Gardner will be in conversation with librarian and Kent SLA Chair Stephen King, to discuss the challenges of dyslexia, her experience as an author and the novels she has written, in particular Maggot Moon which is now published in Dyslexie font. Refreshments will follow and the evening will end with a Q and A session from the audience. A selection of Sally's books will be on sale which she will be happy to sign.
