The CILIP School Libraries Group Committee have spent several months putting together what they hope is a great programme of keynote sessions, speakers, workshops, author sessions, displays, competitions etc for their annual conference next April. The last conference was well attended by over 120 library staff - it is a great networking opportunity, a chance to meet colleagues, share ideas, be inspired and re-energised, and keep up to date with the latest developments and initiatives in the field of school libraries. Whether you are new to school libraries or have worked in them for years - secondary, primary or SLS staff.  All CILIP members should be receiving a postcard flyer in next week or so but you can check out the details on the CILIP SLG Conference site later this week. Don't forget you do not need to be a CILIP member to attend all or part of this conference.
