The Manchester Poetry Prize 2012
Under the direction of the Poet Laureate, Carol Ann Duffy, the Manchester Writing School at Manchester Metropolitan University is launching the third Manchester Poetry Prize with a first prize of £10,000.
The competition is open to new and established writers aged 16 and over. The deadline for entries is 31st August 2012 and the entry fee is £17 per portfolio of 3 - 5 poems.
