Work Smarter and Shine: Witham, Essex, 1 December 2016

Our course Work Smarter and Shine, run by Sarah Pavey MSc FCLIP, will be held at EES for Schools/School Library Service, 11 Freebournes Road, Witham, Essex CM8 3UN on 1 December 2016.

This course will help you to -

- write a realistic and achievable job description that reflects the aims of the school and the impact on teaching and learning

- understand how to write a development plan that fits both the library and school aims for the future using SMART targets

- practice techniques for managing your time effectively, reducing stress and increasing productivity

- understand the complexities of teenage behaviour and how to deal with it in a library setting

- develop assertive attitudes and responses in the working environment to help communication and achieve the library and school goals

The closing date is 17 November 2016. Bookings received by 3 November 2016 are eligible for a £15 discount.
