IBA Book Club for Schools

In 2025, 1600 school children voted in the Information Book Award. Registration for 2026 has now closed but you can still take part by buying a set of discounted shortlisted books from Peters.

2026 Book Club resources are now available to download. Designed to support you to work with pupils to take part in the awards, our resources can be used as a regular book club programme, or more flexibly for ideas and inspiration to help your pupils engage with the shortlisted titles.

Taking part in the IBA Book Club will help your pupils develop critical thinking skills, develop confidence in communicating their opinions, find new interests and fire up their love of reading.

The Information Book Award Book Club is generously supported by funding from the Authors Licensing & Collecting Society.
