The nomination process for the 2012 School Librarian of the Year will close on 13 January 2012. Nomination forms were included with the Autumn 2011 issue of The School Librarian and are available for download from the website.

Please consider nominating a librarian in a primary or secondary school who demonstrates outstanding professional qualities and deserves to be recognised for the work that they do. The Guidance Notes will help you prepare an effective nomination.

The names of the Honour List finalists will be released in September and the winner will be announced at a high profile ceremony in Autumn 2012. The celebrations will also include the announcement of the winner of the SLA Library Design Award.
