The next SLA Weekend Course will run on 8–10 June 2012 at Beaumont House, Old Windsor, and will be held jointly with SLG and YLG.

Through a mix of plenary and workshop sessions, the conference will explore themes around reading and technologies, the child in society and the impact of technology and literacy in the context of a child’s development. The programme will also include guest appearances by some of the UK’s leading children’s authors, illustrators, storytellers and performers as well as competitions and a ‘treasure hunt’.
