Weekend Course

Our SLA Weekend Training Course is hugely popular. Held in June at a different location each year, the course has become an essential element of professional development for many school librarians.

The course is fully residential, but day delegate options are also available.

2015

The SLA's 2015 weekend course - “Creating Future Learners: A Hoard of Knowledge” - will be held at Yarnfield Park Training and Conference Centre in Staffordshire in a three-day format on 12-14 June 2015. Look out for further information soon!

2014

Manchester 2014 LogoThe SLA's Weekend Course for 2014 was held at the Manchester Renaissance Hotel on 20–21 June 2014 with the theme No Librarian Is an Island: Making Friends and Influencing People.
