The Guardian over the weekend reported that ‘Museum visits do not improve GCSE grades’

However, they found that reading behaviours had a direct, positive association with educational performance.

So the importance of the school library and its activities offered by school library staff contribute to increased attainment.

However, that’s not to say that cultural capital activities are not worthwhile.
