Submissions now open

The Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA) is now accepting submissions for its annual Copyright Essay Competition, a national competition for 16-19 year olds based in UK schools and colleges to write an essay around subjects concerning copyright and intellectual property.

The essay competition not only gives students the opportunity to win a cash prize, but allows them to think critically about the relevant topic and will provide a great asset to UCAS or employment applications.

This year, students are invited to submit an essay in answer to the following question:

'Copyright only protects big companies' Discuss.

The closing date for entries is 30th June 2021.
