22 January 2021 Share

Create your own picture book and win £100 of books for your school library.

ReadingZone have now launched their 2021 Picture Book Competition, where children and young people aged 4-18 are challenged to create a picture book on or around World Book Day

The competition will run from January to Friday 23rd April and is open to individual children, libraries and schools internationally. Author and illustrator Mini Grey (The Last Wolf, Traction Man) will judge this year's competition, with the winners announced in early June 2021.

Many schools and libraries choose to run the project on or around World Book Day (4th March 2021) encouraging children and young people as authors and illustrators. All the schools that take part will receive a certificate and feedback from the judges.
