Can you help with MA research evaluating preventive conservation awareness amongst school libraries in England?
Student Ariana Ladjevardi is currently undertaking an MA in Preventive Conservation with Northumbria University. As part of her dissertation component, she is evaluating preventive conservation awareness amongst school libraries in England, UK, and is currently seeking school library staff to help with her research.
It looks as though similar studies have not been undertaken in 40 years, so she is keen to discover how different the situation in England may be in 2022.
Ariana would like to invite all school library staff and information specialists in England only whose libraries are currently members of the SLA to take part in her survey. The questions are divided into 5 sections, and the whole process should take around 20 to 30 minutes to complete.
Prior to completing the survey, please read the accompanying Information Notice carefully as it may answer any questions you have on the survey and how results are collated.
If you are happy to proceed with the survey, please first complete, sign and date the Consent Form at the bottom of the Information Notice.
Once you have completed the survey, please return it together with your Consent Form to firstname.lastname@example.org
No personal data (such as staff names or schools) is requested in the survey and your signed Consent Form will be filled separately. School library names will not appear in the dissertation.
The deadline for sending your completed survey is Monday 11th July 2022.
Thank you all very much for your participation!
