The School Library Association has partnered with the NCE and OTSA to bring reading to the forefront of professional learning in schools through two new fully funded programmes for librarians, support staff and teachers, starting in September.

These include a Future Leaders Programme, aimed at anyone currently working in, leading or aspiring to lead a school library, with aspirations to grow into a leader, and an Education Management Programme, aimed at English/Literacy Coordinators or those leading reading within a school, Trust or organisation.

These programmes are fully funded by the apprenticeship levy and have been created in association with the Chartered Management Institute, national reading experts, OTSA , SLA and NCE, to ensure that the content meets both the generic challenges of leading an organisation and the specific leadership challenges of leading on reading. A year's SLA Student membership is included with each apprenticeship.

There are limited places on these webinars, and they’re filling up fast – don’t miss out!
