ClickView and the School Library Association enter agreement to deliver the SLA’s Training Programme to a wider audience

09 July 2020 Share

Webinars made more accessible

ClickView and the SLA have entered an agreement which will see the SLA’s recent webinars made more accessible. The content from some webinars and the weekend course will be made available using the ClickView platform which allows the SLA’s training offer to become more accessible and flexible. ClickView encourages deeper understanding through video and thrives on supporting educators; while the SLA has been supporting all those involved in school libraries since 1937.

This new development is part of the SLA’s response to the pandemic, when our Regional Training programme was wiped out overnight – a source of income on which the SLA depends.

SLA CEO Alison Tarrant said: “I’m delighted to enter into this agreement to ensure our current training provision and see what else develops as a result of the closer links between our two organisations. Many school library staff are responsible for the management of their ClickView system, and so this closer relationship makes perfect sense.”

Michael Wilkinson, Managing Director UK, ClickView said: “ClickView are proud to be supporting the SLA through this time of need, as we have support schools with free access to our most popular resources at www.clickview.co.uk/free. Our colleagues in libraries and resource centres have been instrumental in helping teaching staff make a rapid shift to blended and online approaches, whilst furnishing them with the best possible quality of resources; leading to more continuity of learning at the highest possible standards. We are delighted to support schools and the training programme and to play our part to ensure this impact continues and evolves”.

To celebrate this new development the SLA is offering access to either a webinar recording or a free publication to all ClickView schools which are currently SLA members, or who join before 31 August 2020. Just email info@sla.org.uk to let us know you're a Clickview customer.
