Author judge for #SLARead80

Our photographic competition, that is running as part of the celebrations for the SLA's 80th birthday next year, is live and ready for entrants. We have a shortlist panel of judges that have already been announced but as yet the news of our author judge has been a closely guarded secret....but tis a secret no more! We are happy to announce that excellent author and experienced photographer Matt Whyman has agreed to take on the task of having the final say on the junior and senior winners of our competition. Matt is a very well respected author (his latest YA book Bad Apple paints a grim picture of a divided society, using black humour to good effect to get his point across) and is also a talented photographer so we are thrilled to be working with him.

You can find more details about the competition on our website , including information about the wonderful prizes we have waiting for our winners. Photos can be submitted via Instagram, Twitter or by email and you do not have to be an SLA member to take part so ...get snapping!
