First Story National Writing Competition: deadline Friday 4th December 2015

First Story CompFirst Story’s National Writing Competition is now open to all state secondary schools. Students can submit a story or poem of 850 words or less on the theme of ‘Echoes’, to have a chance of being published in The Sunday Times online, winning a place on an Arvon creative writing residential and being professionally published in a collected anthology. The competition will be judged by three acclaimed writers: James Dawson, Adam Foulds, Helen Mort, and Laura Dockrill. Find out more here.
