Job Vacancies: Culcheth High School - Independent Learning Centre (Library) Manager

25 hours Mon-Fri, term time only

NJC grade 6 £21,530 - £24,472 pro-rata (pay award pending)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and proactive ILC Manager who has excellent knowledge of student literature and a passion for books. Our ILC is a place where students are encouraged to develop a love and appreciation for reading. The role involves delivering ILC induction lessons, encouraging pupils to develop their reading and study skills, arranging ILC promotional events, maintaining a computerised library system and appropriate stock levels. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. Previous experience of working with high school age children or within a library environment is essential.
