Marvel Comic legend Stan Lee

Stan Lee, creator of some of comics books' most famous characters and the former president of Marvel Comics, has died aged 95.

Lee co-created The Fantastic Four, Spiderman, The Incredible Hulk and X-Men among others. He built up Marvel comics into a huge multinational succeesful company. He was also known for making a cameo in every Marvel film.

The Excelsior Award pays tribute to Lee's work with promoting graphic novels as a means to promote literacy and to become accepted as a legitimate vehicle to enjoy reading.

Chaos or collection includes many of Stan Lee's works.
