Mental Health and Wellbeing in a School Library Setting: Witham, Essex, 27 November 2018

Our course Mental Health and Wellbeing in a School Library Setting, run by Marie (Maz) Udall from the Self Esteem Team, will be held at EES for Schools/School Library Service, 11 Freebournes Road, Witham, Essex CM8 3UN on 27 November 2018.

This training will show school library staff how to create a culture that's conducive to good mental health, a well as looking at the challenges facing young people today and the solutions they can employ, in the space they inhabit in school, to help students struggling in these areas.  Issues covered will include anxiety, body image, exam stress, mental health and self-esteem. 

The closing date is 12 November 2018. Bookings received by 26 October 2018 are eligible for a £15 discount making the cost of the full days training just £90 (SLA members), £120 (delegates from non-SLA member schools which subscribe to Essex School Library Service), £150 to all others.  Additional discounts available for a 2nd place delegate from the same school (accompanying a full paying individual).  Prices increase slightly after 26 October - please see SLA website for details.
