Mental Health, Wellbeing and Reading: Cramlington, Northumberland, 27 June 2018

DON'T DELAY, BOOK TODAY!

We are delighted to inform you that the SLA have teamed up with the Self Esteem Team for a Mental Health, Wellbeing and Reading training day which will be taking place at Cramlington Learning Village on Wednesday 27th June.

Aimed at KS2 and secondary school library / support staff, this course will look at how Literature, escapism and safe spaces are all imperative to good mental health.  Issues covered will include anxiety, body image, academic stress, mental health and self-esteem.  This will happen by the speaker delivering a first hand testimonial about her experiences, before applying her knowledge of these universal topics to the specific queries of the delegates in the training session.

The closing date is 13 June 2018. Bookings received by 8 June 2018 are eligible for a £15 discount making the cost of the full days training just £90.00 (SLA members), £150.00 (non-members) and a second delegate attending from the same school (accompanying a full paying individual) can do so for as little as £55.00 (SLA members), £75.00 (non-members).  In addition, if your school is not a member of the SLA but it subscribes to one of the excellent School Library Services based in the North East the concessionary rate of £120.00 will be applied to your booking.  Payment is not required by the discount deadline to qualify for the reduced rate.
