Opening Doors: the School Library in a culturally diverse society: Ilford, Essex, 23 February 2017

Our course Opening Doors: the School Library in a culturally diverse society, run by Alec Williams, will be held at Redbridge Central Library, Clements Road, Ilford, Essex IG1 1EA on 23 February 2017.

This course looks at the recent pattern of population change, and examines the implications for resources, the library environment, promoting reading and information literacy.

The closing date is 9 February 2017. Bookings received by 26 January 2017 are eligible for a £15 discount making the cost of the full days training just £90 (SLA members), £120 (for delegates who are non-members of the SLA but work in schools which subscribe to Redbridge Schools' Library Service), £150 (non-members of either group).  Further 'second place' discounts are available - please see SLA website for information.
