Oxfordshire Branch Sixth Form skills: Training Event Sixth Form skills

Wednesday 3rd December, Abingdon School

We are very fortunate to be welcoming Lynn Winkworth to deliver a session for us this coming December. Lynn will be sharing the work she does with the sixth form at Headington School.  She will be looking at the skills needed for searching online databases, fundamental research and the rudiments of referencing – essential in maintaining academic honesty.  Lynn is planning a hands on referencing session during the morning, so everyone can have a go! In a digital age, we as Librarians need to be spearheading IL across our schools and this session I feel will be invaluable to us all.

The details are:

Venue: Abingdon School https://www.abingdon.org.uk/

Time: Registration from 09.30, with a start time of 10.00

Finish: 12.30

Please RSVP via email to Jodie Brooks by November 28th
