Now in its third year, Read for My School is a national reading competition open to primary pupils in Years 3-6 and secondary pupils in Years 7-8 across England. It is completely free to register and take part. Last year over 210,000 pupils participated!
Designed to get the whole school excited about reading and encourage in children a spirit of giving, the competition challenges pupils to read as many books as they can between 19th January and 20th March.
As well as reading their own books offline, pupils can read books from our FREE online library of over 150 titles by authors such as Jeremy Strong, Philip Pullman, Mark Haddon, Jacqueline Wilson, Eoin Colfer, Benjamin Zephaniah, Bali Rai and Jamila Gavin.
And best of all the online library is fully compatible with iPads and many other mobile devices.
Plus, your pupils can also win some exciting prizes for both individuals and their school.
