Ross Montgomery competition reminder

On  the eve of publication day for the lovely Perijee & Me by author Ross Montgomery, a reminder that there is still time to enter the competition to win a FREE author visit for your school. The new  copy of The School Librarian features a review of Perijee and MePerijee & Me, which tells the story of Caitlin  and the strange little creature she's convinced must be from outer space, calling it:

..outrageously funny.  It is a gripping page turner with a lavish sprinkling of beautiful imagery.  It delves below the apparent superficial slapstick humour of visual excesses, to explore the more sensitive theme of loneliness and the desire for friendship, trust and love.

To win a visit from Ross get your classes to send in their best picture (with an explanation!) of the alien friend they'd like to have. Email hannah.love@faber.co.uk with a selection by April 30th to be in with a chance.
