Information Book Award 2019

Entries for 2019

Iba Gold Sticker 150pxWe are delighted to invite publishers of information books to nominate their titles (first published in 2018) for consideration for the ninth annual Information Book Award in 2019.

The award is split into three categories:

  • Under 7
  • 7 – 12
  • 12 – 16

The shortlist will be announced in Spring 2019, at which point children will be invited to vote for their favourite from each category. There will be a Judges' Choice Winner and a Children's Choice Winner for each age category, and both Judges and Children will choose an Overall Winner.

The judges are looking for information books that will stimulate interest, have an innovative approach and/or format, have child appeal, be up-to-date in approach as well as have value (for education and enjoyment) going forward.

Full details on the criteria for entry and a submission form to complete are available to download below.

The submission deadline for entries is 14 January 2019.
