Hours: Full time, term time only plus 3 days in school holidays 

Salary Range: £26,520 - £31,044 pa depending on experience. Pro rated to £22,990 - £26,912 pa for term time only

Are you keen to encourage a passion and enthusiasm for literature and reading?  We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Resource Centre Manager who is committed to partnering our teaching staff in promoting reading for pleasure, supporting literacy initiatives and ensuring that our LRC is accessible and attractive to our very engaged students.  Our LRC Manager also supports and promotes literacy, reading and writing extra curricular activities within and outside of the school and manages a team of very enthusiastic pupil librarians. 

The ideal candidate will be meticulous in their librarianship skills, caring for our print and digital resources. At the same time, they will be a keen reader, able to research and recommend appropriate books to our highly motivated and diverse students.    

We are looking for excellent IT skills, a desire and ability to work carefully and accurately, and a warm, friendly manner.

The LRC Manager works five days per week during term time: 8.45 am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, and 8.45 am to 4.45pm on Fridays (with an hour’s break for lunch).  There is also the requirement to work an additional three days during periods of school closure.
