Job Description

The Hurlingham Academy, London, are seeking to appoint an innovative School Librarian who will promote a learning ethos, encouraging students to use the Library for a variety of different types of study. 

The Person: You will need to have professional qualification or relevant experience in Library and Information Science.  The successful candidate will need to be able to work independently as well as part of a team. You will need to be able to work under pressure, have excellent communications skills, and be computer literate. You will have experience in promoting the development of reading and love of literature, and to manage, monitor and evaluate, educational resources and their use, ensuring relevancy to the curriculum and school improvement plan within the allotted budget.  You will be enthusiastic about working within a school environment and supporting the needs of the Academy.
