Library Display Competition

Take part in our display competition – as well as the chance to win, this is a great opportunity to promote your creativity and library awesomeness and for the UK School Library community to share and inspire each other.

Join in the fun and submit photos of your library displays for the chance to win a £50 gift voucher for your library! With a prize draw every three months, there are four chances every year to win. Our current competition focuses on online provision and closes on 15 August 2020 – see below for all the details on how to enter.

“The quality of the displays and level of creativity exhibited by the school librarians producing them is truly inspiring. We’re very proud to support this great competition and the role of the library in school wide success.”
—Barney Jenkins, Director, Business Development and Operations, Softlink UK.

Our eighth competition is now running. This is slightly different and focuses on online provision. So however you’re encouraging reading during this time let us know and you could be in with a chance of winning a £50 voucher. So whether you’re using powerpoint, sway, teams or pinterest let us know by emailing info@sla.org.uk with ‘Library Engagement Competition’ in the subject line and describing what you’re doing with a picture or two.

We’ll choose a winner in mid August, so there’s plenty of time to get involved.

Closing date: 15 August 2020.

Thank you to Softlink, provider of Oliver school library software, who sponsor each competition. You can enter every three month draw and schools are eligible to win more than once (although not for the same entry – please see the information on the Softlink website).

Displays will be judged by representatives from SLA and Softlink.

You can also share your images on Twitter using the hashtag #schlibrarydisplays

We look forward to seeing your entries – good luck!

Softlink also ran a global Library Display Competition in 2017 – see some of the amazing entries and be inspired on this entries PDF or Photos library
