Children's Story and Young Illustrator's Competitions

The Children’s Story Competition and Young Illustrator’s Competition is open for 7 -18 year olds to write a short story or illustrate one of the titles below:

  • The Enchanted Rainforest
  • The Accident
  • Finders Keepers
  • The Family Next Door
  • Mission to the Moon

There are cash prizes to be won plus the winner of the Young Illustrator’s Competition will grace the front cover of the Children’s Story Book along with the winning stories and illustrations.  This year’s judge is Eve White from Eve White: Literary Agent.  Eve represents some exiting children’s authors including Andy Stanton and Tracey Corderoy.

The entry fee is £5 per submission and the deadline is at midnight on Monday 31 October 2011.  Send your stories by post or online, and your illustrations by post only to Chapter One Promotions, Canterbury Court, 1-3 Brixton Road, London, SW9 6DE.  Please include your contact details on a separate sheet.  Check out the website for guidelines at www.chapteronepromotions.com or e-mail at kidskorner2@chapteronepromotions.com.
