Join bestselling Football School authors Alex and Ben for a lesson like you’ve never had before! 

To celebrate the launch of the third Young Sportswriter of the Year competition with The Guardian, join Alex and Ben for a fun, football themed interactive event, which is guaranteed to inspire any child who comes along, football fan or not! Alex and Ben will be your teachers (we mean coaches) for a unique introduction to Football School which will involve singing, dancing and quizzing, all to help you learn about the world through football.  They’ll also talk about creative writing and how children could be in with a chance of winning their article being published by The Guardian, a £100 sports voucher and a lesson from a top sports journalist!

Multiple school slots available. Depending on demand we may open more dates. Cut-off date for registration is Friday 11th June 2021.

Cost: There are various ticket options including a free option to celebrate the launch of the Young Sportswriter competition but if you’d like to purchase your ticket alongside copies of the new Football School book Football School Terrific Teams, we have included further options below.  

Option one: FREE FOR MEMBERS /£5.00 (+VAT) non-members – includes entry to the event for one school

Option two: £37.95 members/£39.95 non-members (+VAT) – includes entry to the event for one school and five copies of Football School Terrific Teams (Sold at RRP) sent direct to the school, along with branded posters

Option three: £65.91 members/£67.91 non-members (+VAT) – includes entry to the event for one school and 10 copies of Football School Terrific Teams (10% discount on RRP) sent direct to the school, along with branded posters

Option four: £92.12 member/£94.12 non-members (+VAT) – includes entry to the event for one school and 15 copies of Football School Terrific Teams (15% discount on RRP) sent direct to the school, along with branded posters
