Duncan Wright is Senior Librarian at St George's School for Girls, Edinburgh. He is a passionate campaigner for school libraries and was instrumental, as part of the Save Scotland’s School Libraries Campaign, in petitioning the Scottish Parliament to introduce a National Strategy for School Libraries in Scotland.  He was winner of the School Librarian of the Year Award in 2010 and is a previous Chair of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (Scotland).  When not protesting and shouting about libraries he can be found down on his allotment or watching his beloved football team Rangers FC.
