Join Mona Joshi to discuss ways to manage behaviour in the school library and learn techniques to manage your space, service, students (and staff!) - and have fun doing it!

The session will include:

* establishing baseline ground rules
* tried and tested techniques to manage behaviour across all age ranges

* ways to collaborate with SLT and teaching / other support colleagues
* systems to pro-actively involve students and get them on board

As possibly the only truly whole school resource, the library is uniquely placed to offer not only academic but pastoral support across the whole school community and behaviour systems and standards achieved here can have positive repercussions across the school for both pupils and staff.

A relaxed informative session with time for you to share specific concerns with the group and get forum feedback and support - you are not alone! If you have a specific concern you would like to discuss, please email the details to ann.adams@sla.org.uk by Monday 7th December.

Mona is a qualified and experienced school library manager and a passionate believer in school libraries being welcoming, thriving and stimulating spaces buzzing with activity - but still conducive to work ... and it can be done!
