For our final 'In conversation with...' of the academic year, we are looking back and celebrating our 85 year history.

Establishing the School Librarian of the Year award from Aidan Chambers' initial proposal back in October 2003 was a major development in highlighting the achievements of library staff working in schools.

President Richard Gerver will be talking to one of the first ever recipients of the Award, Nikki Heath (currently Senior Librarian at The Manchester Grammar School and Secretary of Manchester Branch). Be inspired by hearing Richard and Nikki chat about what the School Library Association means to them, what it has contributed to their work and listen to them tackle some of the questions you want answering around the current school library landscape.

This event is free for SLA members and will be available as a recording to watch back later.
