School Librarians as Teachers - a webinar course (2x 3 hour sessions) covering:
Instruction and practical experience of an inquiry in order to reflect on inquiry design.
Are you an inquirer? Inquiry is a fundamental human activity and an essential learning process. This course will help you understand inquiry through modelling the process. During this course delegates will be conducting an inquiry into an aspect of their professional practise in order to gain insight from the perspective of a student.
The afternoon session will be a reflection on your experience of the morning and understanding the principles of inquiry design.
Finally in understanding the process ourselves we will discuss ways of advancing inquiry through SLT and teaching colleagues, highlighting a school librarians’ role within the curriculum.
