Weekend Course

2019

The 2019 SLA weekend course - "Building Identity, Building Readers" - will be a joint venture with CILIP YLG, and will be held on 21 to 23 June 2019 at the Aston Conference Centre, Aston University, Birmingham, with a broad theme of wellbeing and identity.

Held in June at a different location each year, the course is hugely popular and has become an essential element of continuing professional development for many school librarians -  a weekend of inspiration, information gathering and networking and "a wonderful melting pot of ideas".

The three-day course is fully residential, with day delegate options also available. SLA Members qualify for a large discount on the course fee.

Full booking details will be published in The School Librarian and online booking and the full programme will be available on the SLA website.
