SLA Enterprise of the Year Award

The Enterprise of the Year Award celebrates a one-off or progressive project in the life of the library. This could include a large rebuilding/refurbishment, or a smaller scale project such as a whole school information literacy or reading project, or book event.

This Award is open to all schools in the UK, for projects run in or involving the library space and/or involving library staff.

Get Involved

Unfortunately, the deadline for the 2024 Enterprise of the Year Award has now passed, but if your school is running a project contributing towards reading and literacy, we'd love to hear from you next year.

  • Whole school reading project?
  • Book week?
  • Library renovation?
  • Information literacy project?
  • Any other type of project?

Let's celebrate these together with the Enterprise of the Year Award.

Sponsorship

The SLA Enterprise of the Year Award is run entirely on sponsorship kindly donated by friends and supporters of the Award. No money is taken from the SLA budget so all staff time, the cost of the judging, prizes for the winners and the final award ceremony must be covered by the sponsors' donations.

The 2024 Enterprise of the Year is proudly sponsored by Reading Cloud.
