Speakers Trust are currently recruiting across their Speak Out Challenge programmes, with opportunities for FREE workshops for Year 10 Students (one workshop per school). These are available particularly in the London and Essex, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, and Yorkshire areas.
More than a quarter of a million young people have taken part in Speak Out Challenge, run by Speakers Trust. The Challenge is an enrichment programme for state secondary schools consisting of one full-day public speaking workshop for between 25-30 Year 10 students, with an opportunity to participate in TedX-style events where young people share their ideas and perspectives with their peers and a wider audience. The programme has a myriad of benefits to young people's development, increasing their confidence, self-esteem and empathy, as well as supporting outcomes for GCSE speaking and listening.
To find out more and book your free workshop, visit speakerstrust.org or email [email protected] to register your interest.
