Date: 17 05 2024

Looking for an exciting non-fiction Library project that doesn’t need any prep time? Try the What On Earth! Magazine Nationwide Quiz Challenge?

Join hundreds of schools from around the country engaging their pupils and developing reading for pleasure through non-fiction, natural curiosity and a touch of competitive spirit. There are loads of book prizes to be won during the live on-line heats and your team might just make it through and win an expenses paid trip for the Live London Final.

All resources are provided, making it a fun and free activity. Nearer the date of the competition teams will be sent digital copies of all the magazine editions that are needed, which they should then read and digest them thoroughly. This is an ‘open magazine’ quiz and so they can be used during the on-line event, making it accessible for all abilities, but the better they are known, the faster the team will be able to answer the questions.

The online heats will take place this November, followed by the Live Final in London. All you need is a team of 4 in the relevant age categories to take part.
