Our New Website is Here!

Date: 11 12 2023

The SLA team have been working hard behind the scenes and we're pleased to finally be able to launch our brand new site. We hope that this improved site will serve as an even better tool for helping your school library be the best it can be.

If you're already an SLA member, in order to gain full access to your member benefits you will need to complete the following steps:

  1. Set your new password. Head to the forgotten password link on the Sign In page, enter the email associated with your current SLA membership and set your new password.
  2. Check your details are correct in the My Account area - particularly your organisation's address, and your branch. Branches can now be different for different users, so choose one which works for you. Make sure you also check that your renewal date looks correct. If it's due within the next 3 months, you can now renew online! Plus, set your own profile page - don't forget to add a picture!
  3. If you have an SLA School/Organisational Membership that includes multiple users, set the account lead (the Company Administrator) and the journal recipient so we can make sure invoices and TSL get to you safely.
  4. Tell us what you’re interested in and update your account preferences. This includes opting in for our monthly newsletter and special interest newsletters. Without doing this you will not receive any SLA newsletters. There are some new ones too!
  5. Follow the Member Forum to connect with other SLA members.
  6. Explore the wealth of resources available to you across the Resources page, including our brand new Resource Library and Member Directory. We've also published a new resource to coincide with the website launch that's FREE for members - TSL Special: Spectacular Spaces. Download yours here.
  7.  Visit our What's On page to see what’s coming up soon, read the latest news and blogs and see what we're working on.

If you're not currently an SLA member, but want to get a taste of what SLA membership could do for you, you can now try our offer with our new, FREE membership option.

This will provide access to our basic advice line and a limited number of resources – including our monthly newsletter – as well as allow you to make purchases and book events. For more information, click here.

We hope you'll enjoy exploring our new site. There will be interruption to some services, such as our on-demand courses and some resources, but we are working on them. For anything urgent, feel free to get in touch with us directly.

We'd love to hear what you think about the new site! If you have any feedback - including any non-urgent teething issues you spot during your browsing - please let us know using this form.
